If you have a static ip address , then you can rdp your computer ,but if you use only dynamic ip address , I remember there are softwares avialabler for you to rdp.

1. IT水平高的,如果没有固定IP,可以用花生壳,自己google一下,但是设置也挺麻烦的;

all the solutions mentioned above will provide the required functionality, but pls do be aware that there are probably security consequences doing any of the above, eg:

- remote from home to company machine using logmein, bypass company's security perimeter, you are probably violating company's security policy and if your company got hacked because of your action, you will be in deep shit.

- exposing your home pc to the wider internet (using either rdp or logmein or any other remote control applications). Your only protection is more than likely user credentials only and it's reasonably simple to brute force and gain access to your machine from internet.

PCanywhere is relatively safe I hope? I mean you need to know the client's IP address for a start.. like a direct channel, instead of exposure internet wide

然後...看到你說的you will be in deep shit -- 你將會在很深的糞裡...

doesn't really matter what applications are used, it all comes down to how they are exposed and who's allowed to acces them. When you say direct channel, if you mean a point to point link (like WAN) which is considered private, then it doesn't really matter whether you are using RDP or pcanywhere or VNC, you are still the only one that can get in and hence it's secure.

If it is exposed to the internet, and if security is a concern, then you should think bout other mitigating controls such as firewalling, one time password, strong authentication etc..
