Once I saw a IT contrator (who sits next to me, do exactly the same work as me) payslip, I was shocked to see he/she is getting 7000 a week !!!

that means if he/she work for 40 week in a year, that is 280k per year !!

It makes me feel worthless....

contractor跟普通的employee是不一样的，contractor就是报酬高，但不稳定，今天有活明天不一定有活，而且没有sick leave 和 annual leave. 不能从他一周报酬看到他一年的收入的！

I know programmers won't get that much. Unless your company is dumb...

contractor跟普通的employee是不一样的，contractor就是报酬高，但不稳定，今天有活明天不一定有活，而且没有sick leave 和 annual leave. 不能从他一周报酬看到他一年的收入的！

True, they dont have sick leave and annual leave.. but thats very little compare with the amount of money they are earning..

and yes,, java/.net programmers wont get that much,,, but vender specific programmers get the 150 to 200 rate..

7k一周就是350k一年，john key年薪是32多万，30多万一年的人我周围也有啊。。。人比人气死人的。。。

我见过PAY这么高的CONTRACTOR，但是真的是很厉害，这样的人是那种系统当了后，除了他们别人扶不起来的主儿。
而且要有很好的人际关系网络的，CONTRACTOR的工作PAY的高也同样不稳定，当然那些一下子作几年的例外，那是强人。

我听说过的最高的是1500 + GST一天。。。而且是两年前的事儿了，现在不知道多少了。

四年前我们公司聘的contractor就是 150／hour，做 .net

那种contractor就跟外面软件公司一样，只不过公司就他一个人而已。一年52周，如果每周每天都有40hour的话，他就不用自己当contractor了。当10年的contractor 拿的 rate 一般跟full time employee一样，当contractor只是为了逃税而已。

LS正解，我以前的公司contractor也是那么高，我记得是做TM1的，同时还在AIS教书~~~最大的好处就是能够逃一部分的税

所谓的逃税值得是把自己平时一些开销所作工作上面，但对收入这么高的人来说，一年交10万税以上，光靠这种逃税是九牛一毛的。必须还有其他渠道才行，投资房，LAQC公司才是真正的退税法宝

one of the contractor PM told me so, he was a contractor for Telecom nearlly two years (now working for our company), and he got his own company
