Pool newsThe most recent selection of Expressions of Interest (EOI) under the Skilled Migrant Category took place at approximately 1.00pm NZ time on Wednesday, 5 May 2010.
The following EOIs were selected:
All those at or above 140 points = 340 EOIs (748 registrants)
All those with a job or job offer claiming total points between 100 and 135 points = 105 EOIs (260 registrants)
All those claiming 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 100 and 135 points = 99 EOIs (241 registrants)
All those claiming 10 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total of 135 points = 11 EOIs (24 registrants).
As a result, 555 EOIs representing 1273 people were selected and will now undergo preliminary verification to determine if an invitation to apply for residency will be issued.
