因为结婚，朋友想邮寄一条金项链表心意
我说还是可能不太好
但是她让我问问邮寄过来可以吗

会不会被海关扣留然后要交税呢？

If the stuff could reach here,
should be safe,
should be tax free,
as long as there is only one,
and sender had declared it as gift.

But I don't  recommend it.

Never ever post gold/diamond/cash.

Very likely it'll disappear on the way here.

A friend of mine, posted only a few hundreds yuan,
but nobody saw the money again ever since.

The problem is not in NZ,
sadly, it's the Customs or Post Office of the other end.

If it's high valued iterm. Declear value and get an insurance for it.

为什么写样品？礼物就是礼物，写成样品，只会让原本简单的CASE复杂化……
正常的个人或者生活用品，如果数量少，是绝对不需要交税的；只有多件物品才会引起海关的怀疑……
唯一需要提醒的，就是楼主朋友在寄贵重物品的时候，切记买保险！

写是GIFT
然后海关要我朋友给了100多刀的TAX
所以我才想起要不写样品好不好呢？

很负责任的告诉你，你物品介绍不清楚只能更招海关的注意，还有就是千万，千万买保险，要想知道DUTY你可以去海关的网站查，GST的话是物品价值加运费超过四百纽币才有，是货品价值和运费总和的12.5%，但是千万不要少写价值，万一丢了邮寄公司会按你写的价值赔给你
