好消息：从 Apr 09 to Mar 2010, 所有人的 Annual Income 在$ 24000到$48000之间可以CIAIM $10 PER WEEK TAX CREDIT

Independent earner tax credit

The IETC is a tax credit for individuals whose annual net income* is between $24,000 and $48,000.

*Net income means your total income from all sources less any allowable deductions or current year losses (not including any losses brought forward)

For the period 1 April 2009 to 31 march 2010, you'll be entitled to the IETC for any months that:

You and your partner weren't entitled to Working for Families Tax Credits (or an overseas equivalent)

And you didn't receive

An overseas equivalent of any of the above

To work out the months you're entitled to this tax credit, use the total number of whole months the above criteria applied to.

If you didn't meet the above criteria for even one day of any month you won't be entitled to IETC at all for that month.

Enter the number of months you qualify for the Independent earner Tax credit (IETC)

早就用了ME了，：）

可惜在48,000以上。。。没什么好处了。

ME 政策是在年中出来的，很多人都不知道。而且这个tax credit 是可以 claim 52周的
