标题: 请教employment contract的问题 [打印本页]

今天收到了雇佣合同,还没有签。发现在我的individual employment agreement 里没有提及关于study leave 的问题。合同里面只提了我可以claim professional assocation membership fees. 但是在employment code and condition of employment 里面就有提及study leave。请问这样的话,我的study leave有保障吗?

在面试的时候,manager有提及如果被批准,我可以claim我的考试费用,但是在我的合同里却没有提及到这个。 请问我应该问manager为什么没有在我的合同里提及这个吗?如果直接问,会不会影响不太好呢?

另外,有必要加入工会吗?我自己是会计部门的,但是公司不是会计师事务所。

study leave好像公司给你就给,不给也没问题。。。不存在有没有保障的问题吧。连annual leave都不是你申请就一定给的。。。。

当然你也可以直接和你manager咨询一下。

但如果study leave 写进了合同里,至少可以entitle to study leave,getting study leave approved 是另外一个事情, 是这样的吗?

Sounds like lz is working for a relatively large organisation. In this kind of org, they normally have standard employment agreement so study leave and study related reimbursement will not be included as it is too detailed and too specified for different department. You can ask the manager to mention it in the contract but I doubt it will be changed. Most of study policy can be manager’s discretionary decision anyway.

You might have sth like 12 months objectives after you get into the org. You can add those leave and payment application into your objectives and have manager’s approval so it is formal for you.

Check what union offers before you join in. If you are under ‘Individual’ instead of ‘Collective’ agreement, the union might not be much helpful. If by joining the union, you are entitled to the auto/merit steps and annual salary increases, then why not?
