if a picture is a person's back, or not clearly showing the face of the person, then no need permission to release ay?

Xav is correct, if the person is not clearly identifiable in the photo, e.g. face not visible, too small, large group photo...etc then there is no need for a model release :).
for taking picture of kids, would be best u ask permission from their parent even if it is for personal or business... as i had been approach by parent once that they would not want their children picture taken, they have the right to do it... so best to ask first... i delete the picture in front of the parent that time...
technically/legally speaking, as long as they are in public space, then the parents don't have special rights for not wanting photos of their kid taken by other person. But i strongly agree with you, if someone tell you they don't want their photo taken, doesn't matter if he/she is an adult or a kid, we should really respect them and don't take their photo or just delete their photo immediately.
It's just a photo afterall, and if we want people to respect us (photographers), we should respect other people too. {:7_336:} |
