Is that speed camera taking photos of traffic of both direction?

And what is the speed limit on that road? 50 or 60?

Was driving at 85km at weekends from Ellerslie to Panmure.

yes it takes photo from both directions as I often seen it flashes when ppl speeding... and ppl does speeding there...
There's no excuse why you shouldn't get a ticket at the speed of 85km/hr

What is the scale of demerit points for traffic infringements?

1-10 km/h	10 demerit points
11-20 km/h	20 demerit points
21-30 km/h	35 demerit points
31-35 km/h	40 demerit points
36 km/h and above	50 demerit points

If you get 100 or more demerit points within 2 years, you will be suspended from driving for 3 months.
There are no demerit points for speed camera tickets.

I only got pulled over once. And once by police hand held camera. Funds itself is alright.
