At the same time please remember to drink responsibly so that this company benefit can continue to be enjoyed by all. As such, I’d like to remind everyone of the bar rules:
· You must be 18 years or older (or accompanied by a parent or guardian)
· Bar hours of operation are 4.30pm – 6.30pm most Fridays (dependant on available volunteer staff)
· ALL alcohol is to be served from the bar and consumed in the bar area (lunchroom and deck)
· Once the bar is closed, staff are to vacate the bar area and the building (unless they are still working)
· There is to be no taking of alcohol back to other work areas.
· The purchase of alcohol and bringing it back to work after the bar has closed is not allowed.
· Drink responsibly – don’t over indulge. We don’t want to actively police and count the amount of drinks provided to any one person, and as such, expect staff to take responsibility for their own consumption.
· No staff are to drive if there is any suspicion of them being over the legal driving limit.
· Please remember that the staff that service the bar do so in their own time and on a voluntary basis.
· And finally, no amount of emailing or phoning will result in the bar being opened earlier .....
The provision of a “Friday Drink” is a privilege and not a right so please bear this in mind and abide by the above guidelines so that it can be enjoyed by all.
