Recently I'm planning to purchase 1 bedroom CBD apartment for myself living at 50% deposit, 50% morgage as the first home. Been living NZ for years at rental property, just wanna have a real place that belongs to me...Some honest comments or suggestion from you will be much appreciated...Thank you in advance. Cheers.

If you have got 50% deposit for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment, why not buy a unit in Mt Eden/Sandringham/St Lukes/Mt Albert/Ellerslie?

The deposit is the same or even less, and your home will retain value better than a shoe-box apartment.

Buy land, not air.

reason is you spending the same amount of money, buy air or land, pretty straight forward isn`t?

CBD的APT都没有地产权。。就像国内一样，租用99年。。。买来也不是自己的，没任何意义

八樓的，NOT all, 還是有freehold然後cross lease...which is 999years...which中區的房很多都是

有钱买带地的最好.你有百分之50的首期还不如买外围带地的.

City apartment 的叫 UNIT TITLE 感覺就是用來困亞洲學生的

其实也不一定，现在LZ单身，如果没车，买个apartment自己供，等结婚了再买房子，apartment用来出租也不错。买公寓的话一定要freehold 不能lease hold, 还有就是千万不能选漏水的，就是现在选择太少了而且city的房要花很多时间看。有车的话还是别住city了，加个车位要不少钱而且不划算，不如暂时先租别的区。

我觉得APP出租的话收益很高啊，买来如果首期付得多，供的很轻松，将来出租也可以做投资，这样不好吗？
请大家解答解答我的迷思。。。。。。
