need to get a new chinese passport, and find out the Denial of Citizenship letter cost $112.40!!!!!!!

what a ripe off!!!!!

does anyone know if it is compulsary to have that letter??

New passport only $90....

there's nothing that doesn't cost from the govt departments! Internal Affair has nothing to do with the Chinese Consulate, hence the $112.40 vs $90 comparison is non sense.

No matter how much the letter is, if you still want your Chinese passport, I'm afraid you'd just have to keep quiet and pay that $112.40 for the letter, get your passport photos taken before going to hang in your passport application. Otherwise, you might come back and cry for the photo studio next to the Chinese Consulate charges too much for photos than usual pharmacy stores...

After all, would you rather pay $112.40 + $90, or would you rather pay $150 for a NZ Passport and buy your visa to China (from memory was $140 for single entry??? correct me if I'm wrong) all the way??

持有PR满2年的，一定需要内政部的未入籍证明才能申请换中国护照。

我09年年底办的护照，05年PR的，都没有问我要未入籍证明

应该是持有PR满5年的，才需要内政部的证明
