Is there any catch? anyone tried it before? http://www.hsbc.co.nz/1/2/personal/home-loans

Kiwibank same interest (4.99%) fixed for 1 yrs.

I would prefer to fix for 3 yrs, wondering if anyone tried hsbc before?

settlement day需要在5月中旬左右，hsbc现在只有premier account，需要10w nzd

You meant needs deposit 100k ? only then can borrow?

应该是卡里需要有10w，cash、term deposit之类的，不知道光贷款行不行，可以问问branch

不够10w的话需要交年费，好像每年还挺高的

I read premier account requirements : it says 100k with the bank or minimum 500k loan with the bank.

Will check with the bank.

The deal sounds quite attractive.

A few days ago I got 5.74% for 5 years at Westpac. Now it looks HSBC has better deal for borrowers.

Westpac can give 4.9% fixed for 2 yrs. Better deal there.
