Please do not pay for travel arrangements such as airfare without having a U.S. Visa in your possession. The Consulate bears no responsibility if you do so. We are unable to guarantee the issuance of a visa before any fixed travel date.
The U.S. Consulate General in Auckland opens at 7.45 each weekday morning. You will not be able to enter the building prior to that. At no time are you authorized to remain in the lobby of the Citigroup Building while awaiting services.
· Please do not bring suitcases or large bags to your appointment. These are not permitted in the Consulate and there is no storage available.
· Mobile telephones and other electronic devices, including cameras, are not permitted. Please turn them off and leave them with our security guards.
· Headwear, such as baseball caps, must be removed while in the Consulate. Religious headwear, such as hijab, is allowed.
Failure to bring all necessary documents with you may result in processing delays.
Please bring all of the following items with you to your visa interview appointment:
· MRV fee receipt or appointment confirmation page (which has the receipt number printed on it).
· The DS-160 Application confirmation page with barcode - for all applicants.
· A 5cm x 5cm passport photo, full frontal view on plain background.
