Our of our family friend experienced another robery at lynnmall shopping centre yesterday. And now thief are not targeting your bag, but your shopping bag too!
She just did grocery shopping at foodtown and was withdrawing money out of an ATM. During this time, the foodtown bag was put down on the ground beside her. And all of a sudden, two people came close and snapped the foodtown bag. They ran off quickly and because she was in a shock, she couldn't remember how they look, but it may be a mid-age maori couple.
She had no bag with her, thanks to the advise given at FM 936. But it is not stopping the crime, they even started taking grocery, just whatever they can.
So please be careful when you are shopping, always try to have somebody with you.
