The most recent selection of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) under the Skilled Migrant Category took place at approximately 1.00pm NZ time on Wednesday, 2 June 2010.

The following EOIs were selected:

• All those at or above 140 points = 352 EOIs (732 registrants)
• All those with a job or job offer claiming total points between 100 and 135 points = 82 EOIs (219 registrants)
• All those claiming 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 100 and 135 points = 39 EOIs (95 registrants)
• All those claiming 10 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 125 and 135 points = 85 EOIs (201 registrants).

As a result, 558 EOIs representing 1247 people were selected and will now undergo preliminary verification to determine if an invitation to apply for residency will be issued.
