Let you know the latest news, I've got my Iranian visa 2 hours ago, very happy, I will go to Turkmenistan embassy tomorrow to apply for visa, that means I will be in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for the next few days (maybe 10 days), to wait for my Turkmenistan visa. :)

yeah, bicycle tour...

my wife did come and visit me when I was in Urumqi, we travelled together on a bus for 700km between Kuche and Kashgar. (I could have biked the way, but she has nothing to do, if she has to wait for me, by the time I arrived, she need to fly back too)

拜托。。。化妆是一种礼貌好不好，你说你出去上个课，逛个街的话不化妆就算了。比如一起去酒店喝酒，典礼，看音乐剧，和朋友吃饭，甚至开会上班毕业典礼考试，都需要化妆的。。。没有任何的实验证明，当纯从学术的角度看，化妆的皮肤就一定会差，因为有很多因素会影响，比如保养，空气质量，生活质量等等， 妹妹，要聊学术吗〉？


顺便，最爱我的女人回说, 我好想给他生个孩子，而不是说做梦都要结婚。不过两个差不多，男人听了一般都会惊悚到。。。

i can't imagine how complicated the whole visa thing would be. (oh btw, you'd come back with a passport with all sorts of visas on it. that'd be so cool. wonder if the govt will let you retain it on your renewal as a keep sake.)

Yes, I brought a tripod with me, a good and light one, otherwise there is no way I can take photo of myself!

but it takes time to set up the tripod and take photo of myself, so each photo with me in it.. is very precious....

Wife is now study at AUT le~

I hope NZ goverment wil let me keep these visas too! cos they cost lots of bling bling to get !

a trip like this is only 6 months~ but all together I waited nearly 3 weeks for visa!  it will save a lot of time if one decide to go through Kazakhstan and Russia, where only 2 visa is required, compare to my route (5 visa required for Kiwi passport), but the route going through Russia Kazakhstan is really boring.

No, this is not a childhood dream, to be honest, its a by-product of my wife's detoured PhD study. (originally she was going to study in Australia, I told her if she is going there, I will go and do what I am doing at the moment for 6 months, at the end, she didnt go to Australia to study for her PhD, but the trip planning has taken over me... )

i'd love to travel. but not by myself. n i dont like doing 走马观花, im more attracted by the different 人文, which you'll only start to appreciate if you stay at a place for at least 3 months

OR i might just be making excuses for my own laziness n a general lack of resources.

toh, i dnt think your wife should be seperated from you. some things (e.g. her AUS PhD) are meant to be given up once two people live an intertwined life :)
