I think for junior BA around 50k,
BA with 3 to 5 years of exp 70k to 100k

相信我，相对来说做技术是没有什么前途的，因为毕竟只是计件劳动，无法剥削别人的剩余价值。

打工的话，任何工作做到高层了最终都是政治，所以一定应该选银行，熟悉大公司的运行才是正路。

i am deeply concerned that alot of people (who expressed their views on this topic) thinks that doing technical programming work has no future.

I think this is entirely wrong and misleading.  Doing hardcore programming can not make you a CEO, but it still provides alot of good opportunity and makes alot of money in NZ.

A good programmer can progress their career to software architecture type of role, which is well paid in NZ, looking around 100k to 150k, or alternatively, become a contractor, which is well paid as well (for a seasoned contractor, expect to earn upto 150k to 200k per year)

it's a really good software firm (Microsoft house) with offices in many counties, there are about 40 developers in Auckland.  If someone one really keen on this , just msg me , then I can give the details including the interview test questions (they have a one hour tech test in the interview)
