i still think to just get a letter for $112.40 is really expensive!
shouldnt that be free?

there's nothing that doesn't cost from the govt departments! Internal Affair has nothing to do with the Chinese Consulate, hence the $112.40 vs $90 comparison is non sense.
No matter how much the letter is, if you still want your Chinese passport, I'm afraid you'd just have to keep quiet and pay that $112.40 for the letter, get your passport photos taken before going to hang in your passport application. Otherwise, you might come back and cry for the photo studio next to the Chinese Consulate charges too much for photos than usual pharmacy stores...
After all, would you rather pay $112.40 + $90, or would you rather pay $150 for a NZ Passport and buy your visa to China (from memory was $140 for single entry??? correct me if I'm wrong) all the way?? |
