Which claddings?

The types of cladding that have been identified as most commonly involved in leaky building claims are those with a plaster type finish with an applied waterproof coating. These are commonly known as monolithic claddings.

Specifically these cladding types are:

stucco.
EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems).
texture coated fibre-cement.

stucco还好了,比常规的plaster好太多了.敲着跟砖头似的,感觉就不一样.只不过这种材料用的人少.市面上基本都是50年代和60代建的.北岸devonport那片挺多这种房子的.虽然不是特了解是怎样的工艺,但他如果漏水能50多年都不倒,也不换外墙.我觉得你朋友看的如果是老房子就没必要担心,如果近年建的可能要注意点.
