High Speed Rail is not simply an engineering thing, but also involves city planning, environment, urban design, property right, finance, etc....and at the end of the day, politics.
LZ is too idealistic (if not naive, sorry:) and should learn more about how difficult (if not impossible) it is to plan and build a major piece of infrastructure such as High Speed Rail, in New Zealand /the modern western world... |
