Wished I could do the same when I went back to HK during Xmas, but the schedule was well packed before I knew it... Sigh

Ended up buying one of these photo packed books about HK from the main post office. Thought it's something only a tourist will do and could never imagine becoming a purchaser one day...

But still, just by looking at the photos in the books, you will improve at least mentally. Then later it can become practical.

The fact that IFC looks like a shaver doesn't help the slightest...

In fact Sky Tower is a bit like that too, but there wouldn't be much left otherwise.

I actually have one taken from 星光大道, but

1. With a non-photgraphy enthusiast friend from Beijing beside me
2. Without a tripod (didn't know I'd go there with her)
3. Using a prosumer, where any ISO higher than 100 will be unusable atnight (I always use 80 if I can) and image stabilisation will lose outif I use anything longer than 1/8s

the result was less than stellar...
