Your annual leave is still accumulating during your parental leave. Hence after you come back (assuming your leave started on 1/5/2010 and ends on 1/1/2011), you will have whatever left on your AL before your departure plus approx. 30*8/12=20 days for your annual leave. Only problem is that your hourly rate might change. For example, our company will calculate the hourly rate based on the income in last 12 months. As you only worked 4 months out of the 12 months when you come back, your leave pay might only be 1/3 of your salary rate. However, if you wait for 12 months before you take your annual leave, you then have this extra 20 days from your parental leave full paid for free. Sorry a little bit long!! Can't type Chinese at work. Hope it helps. |
