The most recent selection of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) under the Skilled Migrant Category took place at approximately 1.00pm NZ time on Thursday, 1 July 2010.

The following EOIs were selected:

All those at or above 140 points = 365 EOIs (789 registrants)
All those with a job or job offer claiming total points between 100 and 135 points = 94 EOIs (237 registrants)
All those claiming 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 100 and 135 points = 53 EOIs (133 registrants)
All those claiming 10 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 120 and 135 points = 53 EOIs (96 registrants)

As a result, 565 EOIs representing 1255 people were selected and will now undergo preliminary verification to determine if an invitation to apply for residency will be issued.
