小孩在读year 0 ,国内才过来1个多月,现在第二个term快结束,要放假了 ,学校发了一封信,说家长参加一个3 partys conference, 就是那种回顾过去,展望未来,给学校这个term 的教学提意见,为以后的改进谈谈想法 .想问一下,这个有参加的必要吗,英语也不是很好,偶也不是那种参与意识特别强的牛人,只想孩子平平安安得在学校就可以了,大家给点意见吧

I am a school teacher, so I can give you some advices. It is very important to attend the three way conference. It is an good opportunity to know where your child is at and how you can help at home, because children normally cannot learn much from their homework. Also, if you attend the three way conference, your child's teacher will know that you are caring about your child's learning, therefore, she/he will try the best to help, otherwise , why borther. Hope it helps.

实话实说，其实这个对孩子的学校，了解学校情况之类的作用真的不大。
但是参加是必须的，一定要跟老师表示一下谢意，要不显得太不appropriate人家的工作了。
