Hi everyone I have sent email to my MP yesterday. Following is his response..
Thank you for your email. Duncan has asked me to follow up on your query. We can understand your frustration and the long waiting times for an outcome to your Skilled Migrant Visa application. We have forwarded your concerns to the Immigration Minister’s office who have provided the following response.:
More and more people want to live in New Zealand with Jacinda Ardern as Prime Minister – and now with our low COVID-19 numbers. A lot of people are attracted to New Zealand’s culture and values.
That has meant, as you note, there are a lot of people in the queue to apply for residency. In this situation we need to ensure we are prioritising those people with the skills we need the most.
Those in the priority queue include registered professionals like nurses, teachers and doctors, and some well-paid professions.
That said, Immigration New Zealand is now processing both the priority and non-priority queues, the non-priority queue was not being processed since 2018 and is now, so this is a step ahead for everyone.
Residency policy is an important one and should not be rushed. We’re looking at what the best options are, but COVID has delayed this work.
If your application has not yet been allocated to an Immigration Officer for assessment they cannot guarantee it will be assessed before your current visa expires. You can wait until early September to see how it has progressed. If it has not been decided by then you would need to apply for a new temporary visa to remain lawfully in New Zealand. You might want to see if you are eligible for an Essential Skills Work Visa. Under this you may be eligible to be granted a visa for 12 months without the employer having to demonstrate genuine attempts to employ New Zealanders given that you have already lodged a Skilled Migrant Visa application.
I hope this is of some assistance.
Kind regards

听到没有在他们眼中没有10W高薪就是poor paid unprofession,10W以下的所有的职业除了注册全是low skill
