Very disturbing co-work(in IT field), what to do ?

I work as a programmer for a project, and this guy sitting next to me is an indian (nothing against indian people, most of them are smart). But this guy is so stupid, he cant write code and have poor communication skills.

Here is the disturbing part, he asks me alot of questions, and this is how he do it. Lets say he got a problem that he dont know why his code is not working, he will call me (I sit next to him) and he will show me on the User Interface (the screen of the software), and he will scroll the page up and down at a high speed, and click on the button viciously, he do that to show me "something is not working" and he look at me as if it is my problem and think of me as a stupid person because I cant explain to him why his code dosnt work.

This guy is totally shit, he dont explain to u in a comprehensive manner, and just by clicking the button viciously and scroll the page up and down, he expect you to tell him what is wrong with his f**ked up code.

And what more disturbing is when I somehow managed to work out why his problem occurred (by going back to my seat, and look at the code on my computer), and tell him what went wrong, he'll just say, "I know, I thought about that" (in fact he dont know anything), and he will take credit infront of other people.

ignore his question next time, just tell him you are busy and you only can help him when you are free.

why did you bother helping him with his problem (you help him once and he will keep coming back asking for more).  Just pretend that you will look into it for him, and tell him that you don't know what's wrong with his code 2 hours later, do that enough times and he will probably give up asking for help in the future.

If i were you, i will only help him with it if i have been told by my boss to do so.

yes,, thanks guys, I dont want to help him now, before I thought we were one team, u know, cant just leave him there and die slowly, but i guess I am wrong, this type of axxhole should just die...

I dislike him not because of his ability in coding is crap, is more because his attitude is very sickening, so amature, believe me, everytime he just click on the button viciously when his code dont work, and u can hear the clicking and scrolling from a far distant....

I mean most programmer are just average people, dont have to be exceptionally smart, I am not a natural programmer (cant do hardcore coding), but at least I am willing to learn and ask the right question and have a "willing to learn attitude"...

It make me wonder why how can these type of amature get into the company in the first place, the hiring process is so loose to have these type of people come through.

In fact I am already refuse to answer him now by saying "i'll take a look at it on my computer", but I wont get back to him...

u know what,, this guy i was talking about just broken the build, now he is frustrated, and he dont know what to do,,, just sit there and scrolling and clicking...

and to some evil degree, I felt happy... really happy to see he is struggling...

This guy is working at a medium-size consultancy firm, and he has been working there for 3 to 4 years, and now his consultancy rate is at $1200 per day, I do feel sorry for the client who is paying $1200 per day for this type of shithead...

and now since he broke the build, he is afraid to ask anyone for help, coz he dont want others to find out that he cant code.... so he just sit there, and talking to himself, "nullpointer exception, why nullpointer... nullpoint exception on line 132...."

i have the same problem with my indian colleauges, they love to take your credit but pass all their work to you.
what i did last time is to talk to her directly first that i am happy to help, however my own tasks are more priority. so if she cannot wait, she has to take care of her own.
later one, she foreced me to take the ownership of her SH*T. I have to escalte this issues my direct manager.

You must admit Indians are very good at CV "decoration". That's one of the reason there are so many "project interviews" before kick off a large project.

或者，你就间接的和你老板讲，你一般都是帮他的，但是你现在真的是太忙了，所以没法帮他，觉得有点不好意思，问你老板能不能give him a hand
