peak power dosnt mean anything
example. a car has 200kw all the way from 4000rpm to 6500
and another car has 210kw due to the massive intercooler, but power happens only at 6000rpm-6500rpm
which one is faster? ofcourse the 200kw one
atleast the power stays for longer.
i use to think bigger is better, so i got a 3.5 inch strait pipe exhaust
yes i get extra 5-10 kw on the high rev, but i lose all the low down torque
and it also makes the car run like a snail on puke`s corner exits.
so now i get it, smooth power curve, and easier driving means everything.
sometimes a slightly modded car with a good tune is faster than big powered
ass kicking turbo cars. they are just too hard and scary to drive.
so stay away from front mounts!! thats what every subie guy say.
top mounts are 100X better, just abit ugly, thats all |
