毛利语是不是属于蒙古语系?发音很接近,只是少2个音节。
刚才google了一下"Maori Language Origin",发现了以下的信息。
The Maori language of New Zealand is a Malayo-Polynesian language, afamily of languages commonly divided into four sub-families, namely,Indonesian, Melanesian, Micronesian, and Polynesian. The New ZealandMaori language is part of the Polynesian sub-family of languages whichform a very closely related group spoken for the most part within thePolynesian triangle. Thus Maori speech is a dialect of the languagespoken throughout Polynesia and hence conveniently called thePolynesian language. The Polynesian group can be divided into east andwest Polynesian sub-groups. New Zealand Maori is an eastern Polynesianlanguage. The Maori dialects of Rarotonga, Tahiti, Hawaii, and all theislands of French Polynesia are very closely related to the Maorilanguage spoken in New Zealand. There is rather less relation with thewestern Polynesian languages in Tonga, Samoa, and Niue, and still lessto the Melanesian languages of Fiji.
New Zealand marks thesouthernmost limit of the Malayo-Polynesian family of languages. Withinthe last thousand years, either through accidental voyages or bypurposive migration using traditional navigational methods, Polynesianspeakers fanned out from the Society and Cook groups to Hawaii in thenorth, to the eastern Archipelagoes of French Oceania, and to NewZealand in the south.
In respect to actual origin, in spite ofcomparisons that have been made between selected words from Polynesiaand the speech of some American groups, the linguistic evidencesuggests that the spread of the Polynesian language was from thedirection of Asia and not America. The existence of different dialectsin New Zealand points to the speculation that the different waves ofearly settlement were from different dialect areas in centralPolynesia. Only intensive archaeological and linguistic research withinPolynesia as a whole can determine this.
从这里看,毛利语属于伯利尼西亚语系。根据伯利尼西亚岛人的地理分布,我想伯利尼西亚语系应该算为蒙古语系的下属。希望哪位了解语系的达人可以解答。 |
