我跟很多人一样,想混个ca,　nzica里面的跟我有关的两个要求是
bcom+honour
bcom+ graduate diploma

之前是想读gd.　后来知道等你剩1-2门课毕业　才可以enrol gd.
我就打起了honour的注意

下面说说我的见解.等点评/讨论

honour在工作上,以及学业上,似乎都会带来很多的帮助
新西兰很多人,全是一辈子只读了honour.

如果要去申请国外的top 大学.　也是要求first class honour这些.
这样对我个人来说　honour的发展空间更大.
我是学acctg 和finance的.　　如果读honour,　那么就应该是读finance,
因为我觉得拿到ca以后.　　转业/跳槽也相对比没有ca的方面,　毕竟你在新西兰,新西兰的finance的好工作少,难进　
去国外.你一个大学毕业　没什么好的工作经验　找到好工作概率也低.

大概就是这些.

Honours 应该是到最后一年的时候，成绩好的学生会接到邀请信去读。不过你自信的话也可以主动去面谈报名。

Diploma 几乎没什么要求，只要毕业了就可以继续。。。其实而且可以从BCom转到BSc直接读diploma

Honours 毕业后如果拿到First Class可以直接读 Phd。。。 Diploma只能读Master

在香港是不recognise post grad 和 grad dip的.. but they do recognise honours..
grad dip 不是也要bachelor全部paper讀完才可以申請嗎?

不过根据bcom honour的程度.　
你不average a去的话　似乎也拿不到什么好成绩

小时候的印象就是觉得honour读完可以直接读博士.很帅
是的　gd剩１或者２门的时候才可以申请

full time honour 都是１年的

first, acct and finance, so many people study it and so many people have master degree, and you only first hon, of course, first hon is better than bact, however, you dont have any exp, its really hard to fight against others, i suggest you stay in nz, easier, until you have enough exp or higher degree, you can consider overseas, or maybe back to china, is a good option as well

你可能有点误解我的思路了
我的意思　是我在新西兰想办法拿到first class honour.
ca拿到以后,　不但有了证,又有了工作经验.
再去申请us top school的mba　读完试着去ib,

听说今年的honour录取 GPA average 是A- 到 A

另外一个主要的就是要有工作经验 - 而且是要达到 NZICA 的要求后才可有机会做CA
可惜奥大不会给...要自己去找

the point is not about merely pursuing higher qualification
you need to know what you really need
i guess a postgrad in commerce is still very useful

当然读HONS啦~ 也是一年而已。可是和UNDERGRAD就完全不是这么一回事了。。
要有心理准备啦~
对了。进HONS的AVERAGE GPA在7.5-8左右。。全部都非人类。哈哈。

i still think doing grad dip is not that bad.. at least i get another chance to do sth different in commerce area..
too bad its not recognised in HK
