如果你答应了一家大公司的job offer（就是口头上/e-mail里答应了, 但还没有签合约的话，可以refuse吗？因为还有一家公司刚刚给了一个offer. What should I do?

A公司給你offer, 你不要, 因為B公司給了你更好的
你現在擔心, 以後申請A公司, 會記錄不好.

那是肯定的啦, 不過也要看人家HR系統好不好. 是否有把你劃入黑名單. 哈

没有啦，只是觉得 A 公司的名气比较大。而且以后很有可能在那边申请工作啊。。

why don't you look at it from another angle, imagine how will you feel if company A make you an offer verbally, and then in two days time tell you that, they have actually found another BETTER candidate that's more suitable and hence won't offer the job to you anymore, how would you feel about it? I am sure you will jump up and down and may be even go down the legal path? (i am pretty sure verbal agreements can be legal binding too).

Personally to me a verbal agreement is an agreement too. Once you promised someone something, you should really honor it. If the only reason you prefer company B is because it pays better, then just be frank with company A and tell them you have another offer and ask if there's any chance you can negotiate your salary with company A to make it more reasonable.

NZ is a bloody small industry, if i were you i wouldn't burn my own bridge this way.

it happens to a lot of ppl actually...just tell the A company that you have another offer and they offer XXXX, and it has been a bad struggle for you to decide. and blah blah........sometimes if A really wants to have you, they will negociate the salary and etc...maybe that will get u reconsider

Sounds like you have already decided which job you prefer then, if that's the case it should be a no brainer. You might want to also consult a lawyer and make sure that there's going to be no legal complication. I am sure most companies wouldn't go down that path, but if company A is pissed off enough you never know what they might do.

Either way, good luck to you and hope it will be a smooth ride for you. Is it an IT job btw?

不用担心，（A is a call center job）他们会容易的找到别人的。如果是高尖的职位，人家花了大力气才决定请你，你不要了，可能会让人家非常不爽。但这种职位，我觉得公司不会花那个人力物力去跟你闹。而且就算你去了，双方还都有3个月的时间呢。
选你想干的，用几年的时间多学，多积攒经验。就算以后你想去A公司，只要你是人才，它不可能不要你！

同意，我觉得你太多虑了。每个人都很忙的，更何况现在工作不好找，他一定不只interview你一个，问第二人选要不要这工作就好了啊。而且你再想应征他以后的工作，到时候很可能是不一样的人interview啊，哪记得谁是谁啊，更何况你说那是家大公司。

未来的是谁说的准啊，走好眼前这一步最重要~~~~

不要想太多，重要的是你的技能和智能是否和你申请的职位相匹配，高了底了都难受。

usually they wont make a big deal outa it...coz they gotta respect ur interest and etc....

现在不是有三个月试用期吗三个月里面雇主和雇员都可以随便炒对方鱿鱼
你可以跟第二家公司说你需要5周以后才可以去上班，然后现在公司4周辞职，第五周在第一间公司混混，第五周的周四辞职，理由觉得这份工作很不适合自己，第六周开始在另外那家公司上班.
