gst升了，但是收入税下降了，48000以下的降到17。5%了

象电力公司这样垄断的大公司，GST与他们无关，说涨就涨的，但象DAIRY，LUNCH BAR，这样的小生意，本来竞争就大，又赶上经济不好，只能自己消化了，利润会越来越低的，说回来还是富人越富，穷人越穷啊，真怀念Helen Clark。

This is a well-designed budget, because:
1) it will fix lots of problems Labour left: too much money invested on properties; low productivity; over-spending etc.
2) Increase in GST is one-off, unlike inflation.
3) Some of the tax systems (e.g. working for families, LAQCs and Trusts) are being abused by business owners. These will all be fixed by the new budget.
4) The National's new tax system is fairer, simply you will get much more money if you work harder.
