这几天看到很多人在讨论Telecom Big Time的事情。。。  相信大家都有很多的不满和疑问。。。  在这里我只能说看我说知道的。。。

1. Big Time这个plan一在5月20号被终止。。。基本上已不能有新的用户。。。如果你因为Big Time 有问题然后被建议暂时换到其他的plan然后无法换回到Big Time 的，你可以选择继续使用那个plan。。。然后如果你说你想终止Broadband的话，基本上你是不会有Early Termination Fee 的。。。

2. 如果你现在还在使用Big Time，然后还是想继续是用Big Time，那我建议你耐心的等待一下。。。我不知道未来会怎么样。。。不过至少如果你还能用的时候，就继续用。。。

3. 在其它的帖上看到了一些错误的信息，基本上是所有的Big Time 用户会被建议转换到其他的plan。。。如果没有适合你的plan，你绝对是可以把你的Broadband还到其他公司的。。。  理论上，所有的用户在未来的日子里将收到来自Telecom的信。。。  根据我知道的，你会有至少30天的Advanced Notice。。。

4.  很多人谈到合约的问题。。。基本上合约是绑在Broadband上的。。。不是绑在plan上的。。。不过根据我所知道的，所有的Big Time的合约已经被移除，不管你是Landline + Big Time或者是 Total Home + Big Time add-on。。。

5. 如果你们还是想要complain的话。。。第一步骤一定是先与Telecom联系。。  有些人可能看到了其他帖上说的，可以到Telecommunication Dispute Resolution上complain。。。基本上，他门一定会先询问你说你已经联系了你的Service Provider了没有，如果没有的话，那他们是无法受理的。。。他们只收理那些你已经到你的Service Provider那里投诉然后没有得到你想要的结果的个案。。。

如果你想换到其他的plan, 请联系 0800 22 55 98

如果你想终止你的服务，请联系 123, 然后说 "Cancel an account" （7天 - 早上7点-晚上9点）

如果你希望用中文来询问，请联系0800 168 168 （星期一星期五早上8点半-晚上6点）

如果你有其他的问题的话，你也可以发站内信息给我。。。我尽量回答你的疑问。。。

I wanted to let you know that Telecom’s Big Time broadband plan will be removed from sale.

We are conscious we have a number of customers who enjoy using a planwith no monthly data allowance, that’s why Telecom is the only ISP thathas made successive attempts to give customers this innovation.Unfortunately it is simply proving unviable.

The management of traffic on the plan has become particularly difficult and we simply cannot keep it in market.

If you are on the Big Time plan you will receive a letter from us inthe coming months with your options and giving you advanced noticebefore we need to move you to another broadband plan.

If you would like to make a change to your plan today you can call uson 0800 22 55 98 to discuss your options. Otherwise you can sit tightwith your Big Time plan until you receive our letter.

Again, we’re really sorry to have to stop offering this product - wetried to do something different and sometimes these things don’t workout.

I will do my best to answer any questions you post here, should youhave a question that you feel is not appropriate for posting in thethread feel free to email me on this site

Halswell这边是新区，Telstraclear的光纤还没铺过来。

cable一般是在建筑商没有打地基的时候就全铺好的。。。

估计是没谈妥。。。

比较反感Telecom 的做法，所谓合约，就是双方制定的协议。现在Telecom单方面毁约，虽然我们不能追究进一步的责任，但是这个做法实在是令人不耻。在开始这个plan的时候没有计划周详，对所发生情况准备不足，导致plan开始没有多长时间，就这样草草收场，呵呵，真难为这个新西兰第一大通讯企业了。Anyway, 谢谢Jimmy兄的信息分享。

其实如果用量不大的话，可以选择telecom的40gb的plan，如果在一个月内把40gb全部用完了，可以把plan换为20gb或者10gb的，是不用钱的。等下个月再换回来。这样一个月大概也在60刀左右，但是网络什么时候都很快
