中国的银河机排名第二，用的是Intel 的至强 + Nvidia 的 Tesla。
排名第一的还是美国的，橡树岭实验室的美洲豹，制造商是Cray，用的是AMD的Opteron。
IBM的Roadrunner被挤到了第三，构架是AMD的Operon加Sony， Toshiba， IBM 合作生产的Cell处理器。

整体数目排名，美国top500 里面占288 台，之后是英国和法国，中国和德国并列第四（？）。

从厂家来看，还是ＩＢＭ和ＨＰ的数目最多

Good question, indeed.

It is not a PC and I am pretty sure they can't run Windows, So the answer is probably NO.

But Nvidia do have Tesla drivers for Linux, and Wine 1.2 RC is pretty good, I think it could really works.

But but, I think the only way you are going to use it is to running though terminal, and remote login. For this kind of super computer, they must site in a cooled server room and operator are not supposed to working/playing there. So at least, you need a Gigabyte networking. In that case it might working. But remotely connected to play WOW? Probably a NO?

So, most of them had the best GPU and CPU, but you can't connect you monitor to play! Well, unless you can have supper fast direct connection to it without though INTERNET! So if you are not the administrator of those babies, the answer is no， especially NO in NZ!

Or maybe you are at least as good as Tom Cruise, then the answer I think is yes.

Conclusion: the answer is No, Yes, Probably No, Maybe???

对不起，低级错误。Nebulae应该是中国曙光的星云机，不是银河机。银河是我国自产自销的，小时候倒是常听说。。。

个人对这种超级神机有点失望，我想无非就是往上堆个4096或8192个至强，当然可能并行构架是咱们自己研发的，但是计算核心还是别人的

那个什么龙芯，搞了半天又是个中国特色的忽悠

玩魔兽的话中国的那个应该是可以的，因为有TESLA ，其中的一小部分就能全开特效了。其他的貌似不行吧，这得看WOW对多核的支持和 CPU 软件渲染的速度了。

个人感觉中国这个比较赖皮，或许是以后的趋势吧，不过个人还是不是很看好TESLA，局限性比纯CPU大，不过也得看主要是干啥，是个省钱的好办法。反正过几年之后又要升级了。

原文还提到了中国的星云的理论运算峰值上比第一名的美洲豹高很多。当时我第一个感觉就是系统优化没做好，找个超频高手就搞定了。。。

看来还是系统构架的问题，用GPGPU的话理论峰值可以很高，不过一是系统总线瓶颈的限制，GPU 和CPU分开，各自有有独享的内存。二是（可以想象）GPGPU编程确实很难，从硬件逻辑结构到操作系统和编程语言支持都不够。至少目前为止GPGPU能发挥的能力很有限。估计只有期待Intel AMD象FPU一样集成GPGPU到Die里了。
值得一提的是第七名是中国的天河，用的是志强+ AMD 的 GPGPU
