The current tax rates effective to 30 September 2010 are:

Income band	Tax rate
$0 - $14,000	12.5%
$14,001 - $48,000	21%
$48,001 - $70,000	33%
$70,000 and over	38%

The new tax rates effective from 1 October 2010 are:

Income band	Tax rate
$0 - $14,000	10.5%
$14,001 - $48,000	17.5%
$48,001 - $70,000	30%
$70,000 and over	33%

ACC will rise by 0.04%

我每月最大支出（除了缴税）是mortgage GST对mortgage payment 没影响所以总的来说我还是很欢迎这个政策的
