Information Analyst

Pegasus Health is a collaborative association of approximately 500 doctors and nurses working in general practice who are committed to improving the health status of Christchurch people by providing comprehensive primary health care services integrated with secondary care.
We are a team of dedicated people who support general practices to deliver best practice health services to our population.

Our Business Information Services (BIS) team consists of Developers, Analysts, Network Managers, and a helpdesk, and they provide business support and information to the organisation, and our General Practice network which is pivotal to our success in meeting our objectives.

You will be an experienced, quality focused Information Analyst.
The key objective of this role is to provide high level analysis and interpretation of health information, providing information in a way that is meaningful and easily understood.

The role involves the provision of statistical analysis and report writing using appropriate report writing tools. You will have exceptional relationship management skills, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
You will have project management skills, a high level of literacy and the ability to produce high quality reports.
The provision of analysis and interpretation of internal and external health information and quality focused advice and support is essential. Advanced computer and numerical skills together with excellent database skills, using MS SQL Server, along with strong experience with Excel and Access are required.
You will have experience with statistical packages and report writing tools.

Experience in the health sector is desirable, but not essential.
