I have recently moved to Mission Height, and as I work in the city, I have to take 681, the freaking bus take 1.5hour normal time, sometimes 1.8 hours each way ! its killing me ! each day i spend 3 hours on bus at least ! what a pain, why dont they open a express service from mission height to city !!!

Anyone else takes that evil bus ? or anyone interested in carpool ?

I guess by moving , you mean you bought a house there.You can not do much with it.It is a new suburb , the infrastructure may not be perfect , that reflect on the price you pay for your house.If by moving you mean you rent a house there , just move to another place that have a better public transport.

681 is a new route created by splitting the original 68 to 680 and 681. There is no bus services at all in mission heights 1 year ago.

Botany really need an express bus drive throught moto way in the peak time. i had the same problem, i spend 2.5 hrs every day from East Tamaki Heights with the stupid 681. I already post my offer on car pool,

but no one reply.

曾经在靠近那里住了8年，上班在mt eden。坐公交的确很头疼。自己开车如果早出早归，那么基本上是35-45分钟的车程。坐BUS赶早上第一班，也就是6点不到的那次，早上可以在1小时内到达。但是下班就得1个多小时。
建议你的方法是自己开车到panmure火车站那里，然后坐火车进城。这样最起码可以节约30分钟。

haha, that is the life. you cannot have everything working perfectly for you.

there are several choices, such as drive + train/ drive (to city fringe) + bus/ drive + ferry/ bus only/ drive only, etc. again none of them is (i.e. cheap and convenient and fast) but i personally will not choose bus.

my work place is next to Victoria Park so not really CBD, live in East, drive about 30-35 mintues in the morning before rush hour, free parking but quite far away so take 10 minutes walking. Happy about that.

你可以算好时间先坐车去manukau city,那里有express bus去city，不知道这样会不会快些？或者再耐心等等，等manukau city train 建好了以后可以坐火车。
