Hi guys, I dropped out of UC ten years ago due to not really trusting the competence of the people running the department. I thought that I'd give Canty another chance this year but so far, yet again, I'm not really getting my money's worth.
The english/essay writing paper that I did was beyond a joke so I thought that maybe going with the Science department would help me feel as if I wasn't wasting my money.
So far, we seem to have had bad quality lectures which you can not pause without messing up the lecture slides, only three lectures can be downloaded and questions on both tests that were not covered in the lecture material.
Are all departments at Canterbury this incompetent? What departments/subjects have you have a positive experience with? When you reach Masters degree level are you not required to have basic admin and organisational skills in your job any more? Psych was okay if you don't take the TACs into account :p.
Anyway, I come from a working background and would have been fired if I pulled any of the nonsense that the staff at 2/3 of my papers have pulled. PLEASE let me know which departments are worth spending my money on, in your opinion.
