My parents have just got their pr. How long do they have to stay in nz to change to 'indefinete'? two years or five years now? any how long do they have to stay in nz every year?

连续两年，每年在新西兰的时间不得少于180天（这个不是太确定，具体查移民局网站），现在不知政策有没有改，还是要看移民局网站

如果你需要永久回头签证，可以住满2年，每年住183天以上，但是国籍一定要5年才行。
每年需要居住时间达到大约240天以上。

lucky you. your parents just need to stay here for 2years. anyway, don't worry la. they just need to stay here 184days every year in these two years and then get 'Returning PR'. if they don't want to stay here for 184days in the second year, they can pay tax and only stay for around 40-50days as I heard

You have spent enough time in New Zealand
You have been in New Zealand as a resident for a total of 184 days or more in each of the two 12-month portions of the 24 months immediately preceding your permanent resident visa application. You do not have to provide any extra evidence, other than your passport(s).

是所有的福利都没有了。要子女担保五年吧。永久不是还是二年换的。我也被弄混了。那真的变五年的话。五年里要呆满多久才能换永久啊？
