Chem lecturer讲得几个地方不是很懂，但是发现textbook里面又没有lecturer讲的部分，怎么办啊？ = =

另外有没有知道pophlth in course test的题型是什么样的？
马上要考试了居然发现这门课是不给我们看past paper的？！肿么这么坑爹！！！！

理科的东西多做做题就懂了,看书不练没用的

110只需要那个folder啊。。。

POPLHLTH 111 is quite bizzzzzzzzzzzzarre. They ve been doing this crap test time all the time. I dont think they ve ever read our feedback. Relax, if you are not aiming at medicine, you just relax. Multiple chioces and some SAQs about wot you hv learned from your previous lectures. Read your lecture notes carefully. If you are aiming at medicine, huh, poor kid, you are already in trouble. People I know who got into med had no trouble with the 111. So.... you need to figure it out.
As for Chem110, again, if you are not aiming at med, you just read the contents in the folder. If something you really feel confused about, you know what, skip them! You will never be able to know everything in science! Indeed, nobody does. If you are aiming at med and you find yourself not gonna win an A+ in Chem110. Poor poor kid, I suggest you to apply after another two years.

omg... u basically just crushed my slim hope of getting into med T T ...
We've had lyk five lectures in pophlth, but I still felt like I havn't learnt anything?
Is an A+ for chem 110 a must to get into med because it's a core paper?
Also, if you have done chem 110, do you know how useful Bestchoice is? Are the questions similar to exam-type questions, is it worth doing?

我并没有说你没有A+就绝对不能进临床，只是highly not likely. 我个人觉得你没有必要纠结课程中间那一部分要多下功夫，哪一部分不用认真。老师让你做的东西你都认认真真做了就好了。老师讲的东西你也认认真真听了就好了。事实上考试的内容老师在讲课的时候已经告诉你了，他们强调的次数多的，内容可能有重复的，往往就是考试的内容。Core papers是非常重要的，因为这些是你实际排名的基础。当年我有同学在poplhlth 111拿了一个B+，我们的degree coordinator就说没戏了，结果真的就没戏了。像生物，化学这类课程，本身就没有什么捷径可以走。除了多看书，多记忆，我还不知道有其它的办法。少花时间在sky上吧。

不好意思啊，这么久的帖子我还回复~~那如果是转Nursing呢？poplhlth111要求也很高吗？

你要是BHSc，我建议你就转成Conjoint Nursing & BHSc, 满划算的，四年两个学位，我就是这样。Nursing对你的要求不算特别高，当时现在听说也不好进了。你去问一问Heather Baker, the Director of Undergraduate nursing programme. Email: [email protected] 她会解释给你听得。祝你成功，欢迎加入护士的行列。
