Geoffrey is a 6yr old, German Shepherd/Rough Coated Collie mix originally from RSPCA4 M" Y( d* C# U4 X3 N! S
He has been a member of our family since he was 8 weeks old and always the submissive part of a twosome.# a3 J% P* l. A; U/ R" @' V! P
Originally with a Labrador and now with a corgi. 7 R% B. m7 u, ^5 J* }- H! Q+ [& _ He is a dog that requires leadership – from either another dog or his human friend. / z4 r1 b, f1 o Geoffrey is not a brave dog. He does not like bangs (guns) or fireworks.' m% H, T0 F8 h, j2 v0 x5 L
He is a soft, loyal boy who welcomes praise. _2 p' ^& V0 R L Geoffrey responds very well to routine and is easily controlled by voice. G/ q2 m E \% s, x
He does not stray from his master, is easy to take anywhere.6 H; s: P( m c% C% A' F
He has a cod liver oil tablet and a garlic tab each morning.0 A7 q* `3 T' {) l: m, O
He then sits and takes a biscuit very gently from me.) @6 T+ n6 y* i( Y& I" Q5 {
He has fantastic toilet habits and rarely makes a mess where he shouldn’t. 2 u! v0 ]. J; d& s I would not even think about rehousing him if I was in good health. He is a great companion and very empathetic towards me./ Q9 |1 ?' W. [- Z) S8 X6 a
If he has a shortfall at all, it would be that he is somewhat wary of some men, although once he knows them he is just fine.+ l* J# v" a& k* s- T h
