What is happening to the Parent Category?
The Parent Category requirements and processes are changing. Changes include the introduction of an expression of interest (EOI) system and two tiers, each having separate requirements. To gain residence, a person needs to meet the requirements for either tier one or tier two as well as the generic requirements for the category. As a result of these changes, the category is closing for a short time before it reopens in July 2012. The new processes and requirements will apply to it when it reopens.
When is the Parent Category closing?
