Help please

i am planning to order a ring to Union Diamond ( similar like Blue Nile). anyone know this website? i heard i would have to pay tax for this ring? does anyone know the tax rate? i already bought a ticket flying back to China end of this year, is there anyway that i don't need to pay the tax? thanks

never heard about Union Diamond, why don't you buy it from NZ? Sometimes it's cheaper here.

你需要交纳20%的进口税。既然已有回国机票，可以直接在当地买钻石，做免税，省去15%的税。

Hm.... i looked at the ones at my own diamond grades, they can't beat the price I paid in NZ!

我上次blue nile那个讨论帖里面看到好像是没法用去国内的机票避税的，你打电话去customs问下？

没有听说过这个union diamond哦，楼主确认是安全的吗？我看了下网站好像是egl的认证，那个不是最精准的认证哦

The certificate you got for your diamond is EGL, not GIA. Personally I recommend GIA.
