Exam Format
The Exam will be out of 35 marks and will have 3 sections all of which are compulsory. Questions for each discipline need to be answered on a separate question and answer booklet. The mark allocation for each discipline will be as follows:
Finance 9 marks
Statistics 13 marks
Accounting 13 marks

• apply the principles of financial accounting and analyse and interpret financial results

• apply statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyse data

• confidence intervals for population mean and population proportion

Accounting
• cash flow statement
• the accounting cycle
• balance day adjustments including bad and doubtful debts, and depreciation
