想在家外面做套fence，想做成铁的，做过的朋友知道最多能驾多高吗？还有必须要去city conucil批？我家在henderson附近。多谢

District plan requirements vary from area to area for both the size and design of a fence or a retaining wall. You should contact us to check for the specific height restrictions and design requirements for your local area and if a resource consent is required.

Generally only fences over 2.5 metres will require a building consent.

有一点提醒注意，不是越高越好。越高为保证稳固木桩入地也要求越深。
