Bachelor of Health Sciences - You take two extra population health papers and a health psychology paper instead of a Biochemistry, Physics and Biology paper. Choose Health Science if your essay writing skills are beyond god like.

据说是....NCEA的话，6门科目里要有4门主课（主课的意思是，这4门课要达到入学要求，每课要拿到16分，顺便说一下，在college，中国人学chinese 的话是不能算4门的其中一门的，但可以充当学分）

你要去看你想申请的 Health Sciences / Biomedical Science 它们给出的条件来选课。

EG: Health Sciences 的话，225 with a minimum of 18 credits in one subject from Table A and a minimum of 18 credits in one subject from Table B.

Table A 算是文科，你选的English算是其中一个，如果你想保障一点的话推荐你再加多一个Geography。
Table B 是理科，Biology and Chemistry在里面，推荐Economics，很简单。数学也可~

哦谢谢你哦，对我很有帮助，我估计会报Biomedical science.. Economics 基本是学什么？商业？写的多还是算的多？ biology + Chemistry + Maths + English + Economics = 5 ...还有一科的话建议什么？ Geography ? 问一下 Statistics and Modelling 是学什么的？

most people who are aiming for med will do biomed... dont know why, but it is the trend. good luck for getting in! its reli harsh in terms of competition and entry... and btw! if you are aiming for med, u needa take the UMAT exam as well. but this is all i know/heard from my frds.. im not doing med so i cant give u any more details.. u should consult the teachers in ur school, they should know about UMAT...

Statistics and Modelling是统计，写的比较多，EG: Probability ....
Economics也是写的，但是都是废话连篇~
Geography是地理，一年里面起码有2个旅行~~ Internal 都已经可以拿到14分了~年底考试压力大的话可以只做1个paper~

biology + Chemistry + Statistics + English + Economic + Geography 不错哦~

Thank you for your reply. ya I heard about UMAT and did some research about it. Currently wondering if i should Geography or Physics...

Currently the arrangement for my subjects are : English+ Maths with Ca. + Biology + Chemistry + Geography + external Chinese for Credits.
没选Statistics 也没选Economics 怕要背的东西太多。
现在我在考虑要学 Geography 还是 Physics. ...在徘徊中

Gography 有写有读啦。。但是算容易的一课

Physics的话。。你读Biomedical Science到大学后要修一张physic的paper，所以会有帮助~

你不是决定要做 Biomedical Science了吗？？到了大学你自然就会知道要报什么课，说的不好听，year 13选的东西根本就只是凑入学分的，最主要只是学一个table A 和 table B 的课，其他什么physic .. calculus..等等等滴学不学都没关系~ 何必把自己在高中搞的那么累呢。。。不就只是凑200多分嘛，学什么都可以啦~ 这只是个人意见，可忽视~~

Biomed的话只要rank score够250就可以了……这个是最新的2013年的录取分数。本来好像是239……
其实你学geo还不如学个stats/physics...geo真心没什么用- - （我没学但是听学的朋友说的，除了有个去rotorua的trip其他都没什么意思……）
然后250的Rank score你只要有至少10 E credit 再加上 70 M credit 就可以了。不算很难……

当然不用学英语
难道你12年级英语没有通过么？大学入学不需要13年级英语。
不过如果你是学ESOL的话那就要学13年级了。
13年级英语学来干嘛浪费时间看电影，看小说也观后感而已
微积分是CALC。这个学学锻炼一下数学
统计在大学里算是最有用的。分许数据什么都需要。学科学类都需要这个。

不客气~Stats的话就是要写和背的比较多不像Calc，全是靠理解逻辑的。

就是做graph什么的，time series, bivariate data. 给你数据然后你要分析，套图……不难的

我Google 了一下原来Statistics and Modelling 就是学probability 的。呵呵呵。好容易。

决心换去Statistics and Modelling 了

如果你纯读biomed的话应该读stats不读calc。

里面用到的微积分很浅很浅。统计才是对你有用的。

我准备把Geography 换成 Statistic 了，Calu 因为都学过了。更容易考高分吧。对Econ 没兴趣 ^^

I went throught NCEA and then biomed first year, calc have no use, suggest you change calc to stat, u will need to do a physics paper in first year biomed, so it is better for you to take physics in college, it will be easier for you in uni. most people would do asian five = math, english, chem, bio and phy, to keep the choice open. this allows you to apply for both biomed and health science.

如果你看过biomedical science 的网站那就应该有看过它3年里要读的课。第一年physic是必修课，stats10X是第三年的elective,,,

um, not sure if your question has been answered or not. I did NCEA in college and entered Biomed with double math, accounting (I know...kinda unrelated), biology and chemistry. Geo will be useful if you want to enter a couse with language requirement, eg. Nursing. Otherwise, Geo is really useless. Physic and Stats is very useful. Especially Physic, 'cause you will be doing a compulsory Physic paper in year one. If you don't have a good physic background, that paper is quite hard....well, it was for me.

Wahhh thank you very much for your reply. I want to change to Stats, but i think the class is too full. so now try go in Phycis class -_-....... zzz I am find with either. as long as not Geo... @_@ :DDD THank you for you reply ~~
