I just renew my new Chinese passport. I havent put my visa to the new passport yet while the old one with visa is invalid as the embassy cut the corner of the passport.

My question is, is that ok I keep my new passport without the visa if I dont leave NZ in the new future before I get my PR? Once my PR is issued , I want to do it on my new passport.

Do you think it is allright for that?

If your pr visa is being assessed, yes.

Yeah, my PR visa is under process, waiting for the NSC report...........

It should be fine. You can inform your CO of your new passport no. though.

Thanks. I m just thinking that I can provide my new passport when my PR visa is approved ...

That might be okay, too. Just need to mention that you've changed passport when you submit it.
