English version of the lamb shank method Just for you
1. Season shanks with salt and pepper. Heat oil in heavy large pot or casserole over medium-high heat. Working in batches, brown shanks on all sides, about 8 minutes. Transfer shanks to a plate.
2. Add onions, carrots and garlic to pot and saute until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Stir in wine, tomatoes, water and beef stock,chicken stock . Season with rosemary and mint leaves or tyhme. Return shanks to pot, pressing down to submerge. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover, and pour into the big large pan. foil wrapped over the large oven pan. 180 for 2 hour. every 1 hour check and change the position of the lamb shank.
3. Remove cover from pan. Transfer shanks to platter

1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup grated cheddar style cheese ( 什么cheese 都可以!)看你自己喜好
1/2 cup chopped freshly parsley
1 spring onion, trimmed and finely chopped
2 rashed bacon, trimmed and diced
3/4 cup milk
3/4 unsweeted plain yoghurt
1/4 cup oil
1 egg, lightly beaten

1. preheat the oven to 190 grease and line loaf tin.
2. sift the flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl.
stir in the cheese, parsley, spring onion and bacon. make well in the centre.
3. combine the milk, yogurt,oil ans egg.
pour into the well and stir briefly to combine. spoon into the prepare tin ans sprinkle over a little extra gratted cheese.
4. bake in the preheated oven for 50 min till done (golden and crispy outside)
use a skewer to check the texture.
5. cool in the tin for 10 minute then remove the tin. set cool down out.
