我说移民局摆的乌龙不少，以前把我的文件差点弄丢了，公证什么的随不花钱，再弄一份很麻烦啊，还好我老妈子有先见之明，所有的资料都有4份copy。 学生的时候，我考试最后一天是十一月10号，renew给我签到十一月5号。把我气死。直接约的移民官，马上给贴了个新的到三月底。这里要顺便提一下，不要对政府机构心存太大的畏惧。有问题要问，百密总有一疏。communication between you and the immigration keep it professinal, emotional and personal email or phone calls will not help you.
朋友说礼貌性的follow up email或是电话其实他们不介意的。但是也有人每隔两天就坐不住老往电话里留言的，这类型往往就躲之不及。
打电话问09- 914 4100 或约见移民官谈谈，对帮助准备材料是很有帮助的。我个人的经历就是其实准备工作齐了，他们也就处理的快很多。不要从自己的角度考虑，而是从移民官的角度考虑，你需要提供什么样的资料才能更好的满足移民官的审查。就像老师改考卷， 字写得好的，看着舒心。7年前自己办我妈妈第一次来探亲，我的邀请信说我很想她，多说了句小姨刚刚过世，想让她过来散心，就被移民官要求出示死亡证明，当时觉得还很愤怒。这种事情能开玩笑的吗，能扯上什么关系啊？ 现在想起来就是自己画蛇添足，因为你所提供的每个信息，它都必须有support documents or evidennce.
收到case officer 的信后，可以礼节性的打招呼：
Dear xx,
Thank you for your email/ (letter) to confirm the recieve of my application.
Please feel free to contact me directly on xxxxxxx if you require any further information in regarding my application.
I have delivered the requested documents at the XX Branch reception today at 11:25AM. 05/08/2011, received by Brandon.
Please find below the list of documents that is enclosed in the envelope:
1. Statement from my employer re-affirming my employment period and salary.
2. My IRD summery.
3. Bank statement with salary record.
4. Letters to xx and myself at our residential address
5. Statement from my partner's employer affirming his income and employment period. So that shows our combined household income. ( please disregard this if it's not needed)
