get a dehumidifier, it costs less to run on long term, and it does less damage to your clothing etc. I bought one of this (http://www.mitsubishi-electric.c ... .aspx?item=137126VX) more than 10 years ago and it's still working like new today (we use it 3-4 times a week). I have two kids at home too and it's the same for us (we do a washing load almost every 1-2 days). I used to use dryer all the time, but have since switch over to dehumidifier. I bought a portable clothline (http://www.forlongs.co.nz/small- ... le-clothesline.html) and leave it in my lounge. We usually run our dehumidifier before we go to bed and usually in the morning all clothing is all dried (8-10 hours). Dehumidifier will passively remove humid from the air and you don't actually need to have the dehumidifier pointing towards your clothing at all. I think to do this effectively you do need to put your washing and dehumidifier in a self contained room (lounge or spare room with doors you can shut). Another advantage of dehumidifier over dryer is you can dry both thick jacket as well as wool jumper the same way (which you can't dry with a dryer usually).
good luck and hope it helps.作者: humanbe 时间: 2013-5-26 16:31:36
