在NZTA上看到了关于注册方面的信息，但是一直不明白到底要多少钱。

Registration is the process where we add a vehicle’s details to the Motor Vehicle Register and issue its registration plates. Ordinarily, this is a one off process when the vehicle is first imported to New Zealand.
It is different from Vehicle licensing which is where you pay a regular fee to use your vehicle on public roads. The fee helps to pay for roading projects and road safety programmes. Your vehicle must be both registered and licensed for you to legally drive it on the road.

Registration of motor vehicle (issued with standard plates, and includes your first vehicle licence)

12 months

(a) 上面说 Registration 是一次性的，交完给车牌和把车辆注册到系统里，但是为什么会有两个交款时间呢？这不重复了吗？
(b) 假设我每6个月交一次，每次交完会给我什么标签吗？（车牌肯定不用给了，已经在车上了）
(c) 警察或者其他人在只要查你的车牌号就能知道是否已经交款？

2. Vehicle licensing 是每年都要交的，交完会给你个标签贴在窗户里，这个我明白。WOF每年一做我也明白。

请大家详细举例说明啊，谢谢了！

是REGISTRATION然后包括6个月或者12个月的license吧.
license不一定是1年一交,你高兴的话,一个月一交都可以.

一个是on road cost 上牌注册
一个是路税，每年都要交，交了也会在你车上贴纸条上面会写什么时候过期

还是不明白，假设我都每六个月交钱，那就是REGISTRATION AND LICENSING FEE。但是上面说的REGISTRATION 是一次性的跟下面（6个月，12个月的）不是重复了吗？

A, 上面說得這麼清楚, registration跟licensing是不一樣的, 兩個都要有, 車在路上才合法
第一次註冊要同時交6個月或是一年路稅阿
B, 路稅有路稅單, 隨時都要放車窗上以便檢查
C, 直接看你路稅單就好啦

2......你既然知道, 還問甚麼阿??
